3 FLOW was formed when brothers Slick and JB decided to surprise their friend Zoë by performing at her 21st Birthday Party as Bel & Biv, from Bel Biv Devoe. They approached their friend Base who was going to be DJ-ing at the party to help them with the backing track, and somehow persuaded him to take part. They performed the well known hit Poison complete with choreographed dance routine.

Needless to say, everyone was really impressed and encouraged them to take it up more seriously. Two weeks later 3 FLOW were playing at the biggest nightclub in their town in front of 1,500 people! The rest as they say, is history!
